SEE MARILYN MANSON IN CONCERT

I SAW MARILYN MANSON AND THE SMASHING PUMPKINS IN MIAMI AT BAYFRONT PARK AMPHITHEATER!

It was such an amazing show!  Manson opened up for the Pumpkins.  Sadly I was running a little late so I missed the first part of the show. I did get there just in time to record Manson singing Sweet Dreams (one of my favorite songs).  The video is shaky, I say laughing!  Between me being shorter than the majority of the crowd and my inability to be still there was no hope for me recording a decent video but here it is anyway.

My friend, Loren, and I enjoyed frozen lemonades while listening to Manson sing several more of his more well known songs including Beautiful People and the Dope Show.  After his set there was a brief intermission where I and many of the other female patrons found our way to the underground restrooms which were surprisingly clean for a rock concert.

By the time I was back to the lawn The Smashing Pumpkins were already starting.  After a few songs my feet were hurting from standing and possibly the 3 mile walk on the beach I took earlier in the day.  So, I went to an open spot, laid out my towel and sat for the rest of the show.  By the end of the show I was ready to sleep!

I DID IT! And I had so much fun!

BE IN A MUSIC VIDEO

BE IN A MUSIC VIDEO

A few weeks ago I got a call from a director friend of mine, Karl Huber, saying he is producing a music video and he wants me to be in it. Of course I said yes!

It had been a while since I worked with Karl and it would be the first time working with the rest of the cast, and crew, including singer Jasmine Tridevil.  Plus it was the first music video I would be in so I was extremely nervous, hoping I wouldn’t mess up I brought my friend Blenus for support. Come to find out I indirectly knew a few people from other collaborations. It is a small world!

Everyone was extremely nice and made me feel very welcome!  I quickly relaxed until shooting began then all my nervousness came back. Thankfully the other actor I was shooting with and I started talking.  He told me about how he ended up being in the video and his experiences shooting the scenes he was in. All the while the cameras were recording us. At one point I didn’t even realize the cameras were recording until someone said something. I really hope I didn’t do anything too embarrassing! Oh well if I did! Before I knew it my part was done.

I learned quite a bit about the making of a music video even with my small contribution.  I watched how a storyboard can come to life right before my eyes! It begins as drawings on a board then figuring out the cast, crew, locations, and equipment and start shooting. I’m over simplifying! The shooting is interesting because of all the reasons why scenes need to be re shot.  It is smart to get multiple shots just in case for these reasons; the angle wasn’t right, the lighting was off, actors messed up, trying something different and so on.  Thank you DIGITAL!

So keep an eye out for when the video comes out!

I DID IT! And I had a blast!

START A BLOG

Ok I wanted to start a blog so I went on Google search and typed how to start a blog.  I got several responses. All of which gave instructions to use WordPress and find a service to host a blog/website. Well I'm new to blogging so I didn't want to pay before I really knew what I was doing. After getting annoyed with that I came across an article about ebooks so I clicked on the link for smashwords.com. At the top I saw a link for starting a new blog and I followed the link. It took me to blogger.com. From there it was easy.  I signed in using my Gmail email. From there it was step by step. Blogger.com offers many different templates for design where you can upload your own photos. Pretty simple!  So if you have something to say but don't want to pay for your blog at least to start then check out blogger.com. Again I'm new to this so check it out for yourself.  If you have any comments or questions please I would love to hear from you!

WHO IS THIS GIRL?

Hi I'm Anya Aes, an artistic performance model!

Recently, I went on trip and had an amazing experience that reminded me of my love for experiencing life. Learning and trying new things makes me smile, especially, when something that seemed impossible to understand let alone do finally clicks and becomes my achievement! It is with this achievement I grow more confident and ready to try for something bigger! As with most everything there are the basics that must be learned. It is my desire to use this blog to record and share my achievements with others so they can learn, be inspired, or at least be entertained!
